Sir Harold Murray Knight KBE DSC (born 16 August 1917) is an Australian economist. He was the third Governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia, serving from 1975 to 1982.
He was educated at Scotch College, Melbourne (1933–1935)[1] and Melbourne University where he received a Master of Commerce degree.
He was appointed Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire (KBE) in the New Year's Day Honours of 1980.[2]
